About Me

I am a Postdoctoral fellow at the University of Texas at San Antonio with specializations in American Politics and Methodology. My primary interests are race and ethnic politics, identity, political behavior, and political socialization. My current work focuses on the interactions between political socialization and the political behavior of second generation immigrants in the US. I achieved my Doctoral degree in Government and Politics from the University of Maryland in 2026. Prior to UMD I received my Bachelor’s degree from the University of Florida in Political Science and Anthropology. Fun facts about me outside of academia are that I ran a marathon last year, my cat Ivy is 16 years old, and my most recent new hobby is bouldering!
